The Church of Ikaalinen, designed by Thure G. Wennberg was completed in 1801. It is a wooden cruci-form church having 1100 seats. The Church Of Luhalahti, to the east of Kyrösjärvi, Was designed by Bertel Stömmer and completed in 1934.

The Museum of Local History is in an old grain store next to the church. The Musical Instrument Museum shows a collection of ancient Finnish folk instruments and The Accordion Museum displays old accordions and other material related to accordion music.
